Waterproofing Work

Water damage to a building can be extremely destructive, resulting in costly emergency circumstances that jeopardize the property’s contents and foundation. Waterproofing plays an important part in preventing such tragedies since it is significantly easier to prevent water damage than it is to repair it once it has occurred.

We implement Hot-Applied Rubberized Asphalt, Polyurethane Traffic Coatings, and Crystalline waterproofing solutions for plaza decks, planters, parking garages, bridges, tunnels, foundation walls, elevator pits, and high-rise balconies as part of our core services.

What Is Waterproofing’s Purpose?

Waterproofing is a vital step in preventing water damage to your property. It entails erecting an impermeable barrier across critical surfaces both inside and outside the building to keep water out. It’s a low-cost, easy-to-implement strategy that can protect a structure from costly harm in the future. It also aids in the strengthening of a building’s foundation, the reduction of health risks, and the reduction of energy expenditures.

Where Is Waterproofing Used?

Although waterproofing is commonly associated with basements, it is also utilized in bathrooms, kitchens, decks, balconies, roofs, terraces, water tanks, internal and exterior walls, and swimming pools.

Statistics from insurance industry research revealed that 98 percent of all basements will experience water damage of some form over their existence. While keeping appliances, pipes, and water heaters in good operating order will help prevent problems, waterproofing goes a step further by creating a barrier that will give protection in the event of a leak or flooding.

Waterproofing is done at every step of construction, from the foundation to the roof, and a variety of waterproofing materials are used.

Waterproof materials

RBR Services provides waterproofing installation services. We complete our tasks in a timely and high-quality manner. We use only high-quality products for waterproofing, which we acquire from reputable vendors.

For waterproofing, we utilize the following materials:

  • Coating with polymer: A thick, easily applied substance is smeared on the surface to create a protective coating. It is critical to achieve maximal composition adherence to the base; as a result, the dressing and preparation of the base should be closely monitored by professionals.
  • Concrete is waterproofed with penetrating sealers. Builders love them, but they aren’t necessarily appropriate for older structures. We use high-pressure jets to clean the base to overcome this problem.
  • Roofs are frequently waterproofed with rolled proofing. It is utilized in the installation of roof materials that have joints. Because these materials are burned with a gas torch, placing them is considered hazardous work that necessitates extreme caution.

Waterproofing work

RBR Services experts are prepared to complete a wide range of waterproofing projects to the highest standard. Because we value quality, we will not install waterproofing in the following situations:

  • when the surface is wet or frozen;
  • it’s raining outdoors;
  • when the ground is uneven and screeding is required

The temperature should be between +5 and +30°C, and the ambient humidity should not exceed 70%.

Waterproofing work is carried out by RBR Services professionals using the safest technologies and taking into account any possible hazards. When all of the work is finished, we perform a waterproofing test called “watering.” We only finish when we are entirely satisfied with the product’s quality. When you work with us, you can expect only high-quality waterproofing that will last a long time.
